What should I pack for an Amazon tour?
Lightweight, breathable, long-sleeved clothing is essential. We also recommend high-quality insect repellent, a waterproof poncho, and binoculars for wildlife spotting.
How do I choose between the Upper and Lower Amazon?
The Upper Amazon can be combined with an overland mainland route. Napo-region Lower Amazon stays typically involve travel through Coca followed by river transfers. We will compare access, lodge style and activities with you.
How long should I stay?
The lodge programs in our selection start with a suggested four-day, three-night stay. A longer visit allows more time for guided activities and birding; ask us which duration fits your route.
What wildlife might I see?
